Are they gonna pay for my tickets, and hotel in Tucson ? My airfare is refundable, I'm not sure about my hotel. This would be a much better bowl but damn, my logistics are all phucked upwardly if this happens.

Meh.. no worries. Your flying is scheduled to exist canceled due to Covid19 in 4 days anyway, so it's all good. (>.<)

This has to but be a silly rumor. It would create style, way too much drama. The AZ sponsor would unload on Boise State, Fundamental Michigan would be outraged, fans would be screwed.

Honestly this sounds to me like, due to the dates matching and the proximity, if either CMU or Boise have a Covid problem, the other team will head to the Sun Bowl. If CMU is already in that location, and Boise State hasn't even left yet, I suspect that the Broncos may suspect they're going to have some bug today.

I tend to hold with this. CMU arriving in Tucson yesterday to start practicing and enjoying the pre-bowl activities while BSU is still in Boise is a bad sign.
Does CMU take a larger AD budget where they can afford to keep their squad and support staff in Tucson longer than BSU? I hope non.
The pivot from inviting BSU to play Wake Forest to potentially inviting CMU instead tells me that BSU may take bug with Covid. I hope that my suspicions are wrong and that BSU travels to Tucson today.
